One of the features you will find in the eValisa is a powerful search engine, with behavior very similar to that of Google, which will allow you to easily locate all your suitcases. This search engine is located at the top of the main menu and has the following features (you can combine all these options as many times as you need):

  • The fields of the suitcase where the search will be carried out are the following:
    • matter
    • body
    • Content of the attached files (as long as these are office documents, such as PDFs, DOCs or other text files).
  • By default, if you specify more than one word, the search engine will search for cases containing all of those words.
  • If you want to include 2 or more words in the search, that is to say that the search results include any of the indicated words, you can separate them with the 'or' option. For example, if you want to locate cases that include the word 'organism' or 'us' you should enter: 'organism or us'.
  • If you need to exclude a certain word, you can precede it with the word 'no'. For example, if you are looking for cases relating to publications in the official newspaper, but you also see publications relating to the BOE that you wish to discard, you could search for: 'non-BOE publication'.
  • You can use the wildcards '_' (for a single character) and '%' (for multiple characters) to search for partial words. For example, if you search for the word 'secretar%', the search engine will locate the cases that include the words: 'secretary', 'secretaries', 'secretary', 'secretaries', etc.
  • It is not case sensitive or accent sensitive.
  • By default, the search is carried out in all the trays of your suitcase (or of the holder if you are a collaborating user who at the time of the search has selected the holder's suitcase).

If you wish, you can deploy the advanced search to be able to specify the behavior of the search. To do this, you must click on the Options button, which will show you a form where you can indicate:

· Which tray should the search be limited to.
· The name of the issuing user.
· The name of the recipient user.

· Search start date.
· Search end date.
· Registration number.

Once you have performed the search, the Search Results tray will appear with the suitcases that meet the indicated search criteria. From the results tray you can access the details of the suitcase you want simply by clicking on it.
